We arrived at Richard and Anne's farm in the early afternoon of Saturday.  Their place is beautiful.
The Main House
The Cottage - the garage door does not go any where.  This is where we are staying.
This is the garage, conference room, and storage building.  Where the RV is parked is an RV spot with electric, water and sewer.  The cottage is right next to the RV.

Sunday, July 3rd, we were up bright and early and we were going to drive to the pacific coast.  It is about 44 miles away.  We stopped for lunch at Camp 18 which had been an old lumber mill.  Its name came from the fact that it was 18 miles from the coast.
and here are friends, Richard and Anne
We finally arrived at Seaside Oregon and the Pacific Ocean.  It was approximately 70 degrees, sunny and no rain.  They have a boardwalk but the call it a promenade - it's concrete no wood to be seen.  Like Ocean City, they are flying the flags.
If you noticed - not too many people in the water.  The water temperature was 59.

We headed down the coast.
This is the infamous Haystack Rock which is much photographed.

On down the coast

Just north of Tillamook, we saw these kayakers on the Nehalem River.  Thought of you, John!!!

We went to Bar View County Park - was a campground and boy, was it packed.  It also has a beach and a jetty.  If you notice no one is in the water!!!

This is north of Tillamook Bay

We had dinner at Pirate's Cove Restaurant, north of Tillamook Bay.  This is a view from our table.
